Co-op Legal Services has awarded 11 new training contracts in the latest intake into its two-year Trainee Solicitor Programme. In addition, 3 Newly Qualified Solicitors who have completed the programme have now been appointed within the business. This brings the total number of Trainee Solicitors that have passed through the Co-op training scheme to 40.
The most recent intake of Trainee Solicitors began their training contracts on 1 October 2019 and will be based across Co-op Legal Services' Manchester, Bristol and Sheffield offices. During their two-year programme the Trainee Solicitors will gain well-rounded, hands-on experience in 3 or more consumer law practice areas, including Family Law, Probate and Employment Law.
In addition, Newly Qualified Solicitors Rhian Jones, Renee Evans and Ursula Lawrence-Archer have now commenced new roles within Co-op Legal Services, following their successful completion of the training programme. Rhian has been appointed into the Family Law team, while Renee has accepted a role within our Probate team and Ursula has taken a role within our Trusts team.
