When you provide us with the details about the accident and your personal injuries, and we can assess your claim free of charge.
Co-op Legal Services have made the compensation claims process easy. The first step is to contact us and provide details of the accident and your injuries. We will answer your questions without using legal jargon, and provide you with free legal advice and recommend what your next steps should be.
When the details of your uninsured or untraced driver accident claim have been reviewed by a road accidents claim specialist, we will tell you if we can offer you a No Win No Fee agreement.
It may also be possible for us to claim compensation on your behalf using the Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB). The MIB is a non-profit organisation funded by the insurers of UK drivers which helps innocent victims of negligent uninsured or untraced drivers of motor vehicles.
The Motor Insurance Bureau can pay compensation for damages to vehicles and for personal injury provided that the innocent driver was insured with either comprehensive, third party fire and theft or third party insurance cover at the time of the road accident. Where the innocent party is a cyclist or pedestrian, no insurance cover at the time of the road accident is necessary. The MIB does not cover off-road accidents.
We'll be happy to provide you with more information when we have reviewed your claim.
If we take on your claim
We will immediately take steps to enable your medical condition to be assessed by a medical expert.
Our car accients claim specialists will investigate the road accident, collect evidence and review similar claims to calculate the amount of personal injury compensation you should receive.
We also determine the amount of damages you should be paid for damages to your vehicle and personal property, for any lost earnings, missed pension payments, out of pocket expenses plus future medical and rehabilitation expenses.
Then we start negotiating with the other side to get a fair compensation settlement for you.
At Co-op Legal Services we want to make sure you are properly taken care of so we focus on you and your recovery as well as your accident claim. As part of a large ethical organisation, we ensure that you are fully supported throughout your claim, whatever your injury or circumstances.
Not sure if you can claim? Call us and we'll be happy to help you.
