As part of writing your Will, you will have to appoint people you trust to carry out the terms of your Will, these people are called the Executors.

By using our Professional Executor Service, you can be sure that legal professionals will take full responsibility for dealing with your affairs after you die. All the legal, tax* and estate administration duties will be taken care of, as well as the sale of any property you have in your estate.

When you pass away, one of our staff will visit your loved ones and explain our service in full, offering advice and support when it matters most. They’ll also provide an upfront fixed price for dealing with your affairs, so the ones you leave behind will be assured that costs will not increase month on month.

When you make a Will with Co-operative Legal Services, you are under no obligation to use our Professional Executor Service, however, if you include us as your Executors now, but wish to remove us from your Will at a later date, we’ll make that change free of charge.

If you have already written your Will with us and decide that you’d like to add us at a later date, we’ll also make that change free of charge.

For initial advice call 0330 606 9591 or contact us online and we’ll be happy to help you.

For details about what to include in your Will, our expert Will Writing Solicitor, James Antoniou, answers questions about Wills in this video called Questions to Consider when Writing a Will.

As part of The Co-operative, our values of openness, honesty, social responsibility and caring for others are core to the service we provide. The quality of our legal advice and services is acknowledged by our customers with satisfaction levels consistently over 90%.
