Emma Woodman

Emma is a Family Law Case Manager, specialising in uncontested divorce and civil partnership dissolution matters.

Emma is passionate about her role in the family law team and therefore will always go above and beyond to achieve the best results for clients. Emma appreciates that a relationship breakdown can often involve stress and uncertainty for the client, so providing high quality client care is very important to her.

Emma has experience in conversing with clients, dealing with the court and drafting key statements and documents for a range of family law matters. These include divorce, matrimonial finances and children matters, resulting from the breakdown of a marriage.

Career history

Emma joined Co-op Legal Services in 2016, initially working in the personal injury department, before transitioning over to the family law team in 2018. Emma started her career in family law as a paralegal, working alongside solicitors on complex family matters, before transitioning into the Case Manager position and acquiring her own case load.

Prior to working at Co-op Legal Services, Emma worked in the insurance industry, selling and servicing home and car insurance policies. She has also worked in customer service roles

When not working

Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her family and friends and will never miss out on an opportunity to travel. She is also an avid reader.

Emma also partakes in charity events, as well as volunteering for the local community.
