Ieva Domehri

Associate Family Law Solicitor, Bristol

Ieva is an Associate Solicitor in the Family Law Team, based in our Bristol office. She advises on all aspects of relationship breakdown, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements and protective injunctions. She helps clients with navigating straightforward and highly contested matters, including cases involving non-disclosure, complex property arrangements, overseas assets as well as disputed child contact or residence.

Ieva has worked in family law since 2019 and qualified as a solicitor in February 2022. Since then, she has developed a steady, practical approach to family work. She focuses on understanding the key issues early, keeping matters organised, and making sure clients know exactly where they stand at each stage.

When it comes to financial matters Ieva’s first step is to encourage open voluntary disclosure and to explore settlement as early as possible to minimise costs and delays. However, if that isn't possible, she represents her clients firmly through contested financial proceedings to secure the best outcome. She takes time to ensure clients understand each stage of the process, giving clear guidance so that they can make decisions with confidence.

When dealing with children's issues, she focuses on reaching child focused solutions, works to minimise conflict and always keeps the child's best interests at the forefront. She is experienced in supporting parents and children through cases involving domestic abuse or safeguarding concerns, ensuring that clients have the support they need during the difficult times.

In addition, Ieva advises on applications for non-molestation and occupation orders. She supports clients who need protective measures in place, ensuring they understand the process clearly. She acts quickly and firmly when urgent action is required.

Overall, Ieva combines a straightforward strategic approach with genuine empathy for clients’ situations. She is committed to guiding them through each step, whether through negotiation or litigation.
