Jessica Egan

Family Law Paralegal, Bristol

Jessica is a paralegal within the family law team at Co-op Legal Services, based in Bristol.

Jessica assists Senior Family Law Executive, Danielle Taylor, with cases involving divorce, matrimonial finances, children’s matters, pre and postnuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements, whilst also managing her own caseload.

Jessica will always strive to achieve the best possible outcome for clients, as she is passionate about supporting those in need. Jessica therefore works closely with clients to ensure that they feel heard during such difficult times.

Jessica is experienced in conversing with clients, the court, and the drafting of key documentation.

Career history

Jessica graduated from Swansea University with a 1st LLB (Hons) in Law and achieved a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England (UWE). Jessica is currently studying for her LLM in Law at UWE, undertaking an independent legal research project focussing on unmarried fathers and parental responsibility.

During her time at Swansea University Jessica volunteered as a Student Advisor within their Law Clinic, providing free initial legal advice to clients in all areas of law. Jessica also volunteered with their Litigant Help Desk, offering confidential assistance to litigants in person at the Swansea Civil and Family Justice Centre.

When not working

Jessica is happiest when spending time with her family and friends, though she also enjoys reading, formula one and football.
