David Fenwick, TEP

David is the Technical Lead for Probate at Co-op Legal Services. An experienced senior solicitor and specialist in probate and estate administration, David heads up our award winning team of probate solicitors and case managers.

Co-op Legal Services has the largest team of probate solicitors and specialists in the UK, and is trusted to deal with over £3 billion in estates annually.

Professional memberships

David is a full member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). You can recognise a full member of STEP by the letters TEP (Trusts and Estates Practitioner) after their name.

Career history

David completed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Surrey, then went on to complete his Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of the West of England in 2010.

David completed his solicitor training at Co-op Legal Services, qualifying as a solicitor in 2017. Since qualifying he has specialised in probate law and estate administration.

Returning to Co-op Legal Services in 2018, David honed his expertise as a probate solicitor by managing a high number of complex estates, before taking on the role of Technical Probate Lead.

When not working

David enjoys spending time with his young family and keeping fit by trying his hand at a variety of sports.
