Case studies
Hana represented a client who suffered complex orthopaedic and psychological injuries as a result of a road traffic accident, requiring evidence from several medical experts including a rheumatologist and a psychologist. The Defendant denied liability for the accident, so Hana commenced Court proceedings in order to reach a resolution. Someone had witnessed the accident and their statement was critical to the client’s case, however they were unable to attend the Court trial in person. Hana successfully applied to the Court for the witness to be able to attend the trial remotely and the client won their case.
Hana successfully represented an elderly client who suffered an exacerbation of their pre-existing arthritis, post-traumatic stress disorder and agoraphobia as a result of a road traffic accident. Hana arranged steroid injections to aid the client’s recovery and secured £19,500 of injury compensation for the client.
