After her mother had passed away Mrs M spoke with our Probate Advisory team and arranged for an in-home visit from one of our specialist Probate Consultants.
Mrs M’s mother had left a Will giving her estate equally between her five children, and the estate was simple and straightforward, mainly consisting of bank accounts.
Mrs M decided to take advantage of our Probate Complete Service as she wanted the peace of mind that comes from knowing that everything is going to be handled correctly.
With our Probate Complete Service we take full responsibility for obtaining Grant of Probate and dealing with the Legal, Tax (not VAT), Property and Estate Administration affairs*.
How We Helped
One of our dedicated Probate case handlers contacted Mrs M to discuss the estate further, and to agree the steps that would need to be taken in order to complete the Probate process.
All the information required to apply to the Probate Registry for the Grant of Probate was requested by our legal team and was received. The Grant of Probate was obtained within eight weeks. All the banks were then written to and the money from the accounts was collected in.
The complete Probate process was dealt with from start to finish and all monies paid out to the family within five months of the initial instructions being taken by the Probate Consultant. The family knew that Probate can often take over a year to complete, so they were very pleased to have closure so quickly.
“From start to finish the service has been excellent.” Mrs M., Milton Keynes
