Emily is a Paralegal in the Family Law team at Co-op Legal Services, based in Bristol. Emily is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and she assists with cases involving divorce, matrimonial finances, cohabitation agreements and children’s matters. Emily assists Family Law Solicitor, Farah Mirza, and provides direct support to clients.

Emily is passionate about providing clients with the best possible service during hard times and going beyond just providing legal advice. Emily strongly believes that an excellent client relationship is key to ensuring that the divorce or separation process runs as smoothly as it can in the circumstances.

Emily has a good deal of experience in conversing with clients, dealing with the court and drafting key statements and documents.

Career history

Emily entered the legal industry straight after completing her A-Levels. She embarked on a paralegal apprenticeship with another firm specialising in personal injury and later going onto specialise further in head and catastrophic injuries. Emily has a wealth of experience dealing with vulnerable clients in sensitive situations.

Emily is still completing further studies hopes to become a qualified solicitor in the next few years by completing the CILEx course and going onto complete her Solicitors Qualifying Exams.

When not working

Outside of work, Emily enjoys dancing and has partaken in numerous shows and competitions ever since she was 3 years old. She also enjoys eating Italian food and watching true crime documentaries.
