Rob has 29 years' experience of dealing with Probate. He takes great pleasure in being able to help people at a time that is extremely difficult and upsetting to them and to make the Probate process as smooth as possible, regardless of complexity.

Rob deals with many different Probate issues such as foreign assets and property, family disputes and property issues. Rob believes that the family and Beneficiaries are paramount. He has dealt with many Estates and is able to help families by explaining complex scenarios in a straightforward, understandable way. Many people do not realise how difficult and time consuming it can be to deal with an Estate, particularly of a loved one, and to take that pressure and responsibility off a family at such a difficult time is really rewarding for Rob.

Rob has excellent organisational and time management skills ensuring that Estates are progressed to a conclusion as quickly as possible. He believes that ensuring customers are kept updated on matters is key to building trusting relationships, which help to make the whole process for the customer as smooth as it can be.

Career history

Rob joined Barclays Bank Trust Company Limited in 1989 and worked in both their Trust and Estate Departments for 23 years. He specialised in Probate from 1993 before moving to Chorus Law Limited in 2012 as a Probate Team Manager. In 2016 he joined Co-op Legal Services. Rob obtained the STEP Diploma in 2001.

When not working

Rob enjoys spending time with his family and in particular likes walking and cycling.

He loves to watch his children playing many different sports and, if he has any spare time, he likes to attempt to keep fit by running.

He has also enjoyed learning to cook over recent years and entertaining friends and family.
