Tanis is a Family Law Solicitor in the Family Law team at Co-op Legal Services, based in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Tanis qualified as a solicitor in 2023 but brings with her more than 5 years’ worth of experience advising clients in relation to divorce, financial remedy, child arrangements, nuptial agreements, separation agreements and cohabitation agreements.
Tanis understands that the break down of a family is one of the most difficult times in a person’s life and is passionate about creating a trusting and friendly client relationship to relieve some of the weight of her client’s situation. Tanis believes that being proactive is key to resolving matters to avoid delays and protracted negotiation.
Tanis is confident and experienced at advocating for her clients in Court.
Career history
Tanis is an alumnus of Reading University with a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, and two-time alumnus of the University of Law with the Graduate Diploma in Law and, subsequently, the Legal Practice Court and Master of Laws.
Tanis completed her two-year training contract with a regional high street firm, with a continued involvement with the Family Law team alongside her studies and joined the Family Law team after qualification.
Tanis joined Co-op Legal Services in April 2025.

When Tanis is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their little family taking the dog for a walk and watching films. Tanis can also be found playing netball several times a week.
