Print and sign your LPA
Your LPA is sent to you by email (or by post for an additional £20 fee). Along with signing instructions.
Before your LPA can be used, it needs to be sent to the court to be registered. They'll charge a separate fee for this (currently up to £82 for each LPA).

Before you start
This LPA is for England and Wales. There are different laws in other countries.
You can only use this service if you're the person choosing an attorney to act on your behalf.
You cannot use it if you want to make an LPA for someone else.
You need:
- a personal email address
- the full name, date of birth and address of your attorney
To make an LPA with us you must:
- be over 18
- live in England or Wales
- be able to read, write and understand English
- be able to confirm your information over the phone and in writing
