Yasmin is a Probate Solicitor, based in the Manchester office of Co-op Legal Services. She specialises in all aspects of Probate and Estate Administration, often dealing with complex issues. Yasmin guides clients through what can be a difficult process with ease, making the Probate process as simple as possible to ensure clients receive the best possible advice and legal service at all times.

Yasmin comes from a varied background, having previously worked in Insurance and Accident Management before qualifying as a Solicitor. Once qualified, Yasmin worked in Family Law before moving into Wills and Probate, ultimately specialising in Probate.

Throughout her legal career Yasmin has always dealt with matters in a calm and sensitive manner, which best suits her skill set. She has found this to be particularly valuable when assisting clients who are going through a difficult time in their lives.

Career history

After obtaining a Bsc Psychology degree, Yasmin worked in Insurance and Accident Management in the private sector. She then returned to academia, achieving a Diploma in Law from Keele University and qualified as a Solicitor in 2001.

After qualifying, Yasmin became a Family Lawyer. She worked in Private Practice specialising in all aspects of family breakdown to include divorce, separation, children matters, financial matters and co-habitee disputes. This included both publicly funded and private work.

Yasmin then branched out into Wills and Probate. She worked in Private Practice drafting and preparing Wills and dealing with all aspects of Probate work. This included administration of Estates, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship Applications alongside other elements of private client work.

When not working

Yasmin enjoys going to the theatre, concerts and gigs, keeping fit. She is a huge fan of ‘Bake-Off’ and therefore enjoys cooking & baking and spending time with her family and friends.
