Mark Lynham TEP is an experienced Probate Solicitor at Co-op Legal Services. He has 17 years Post-Qualification Experience and now specialises in Probate Estate Administration.
Mark studied law at Staffordshire University achieving a First Class Honours Law Degree before completing the LPC at Cardiff Law School.
Mark trained at a London legal practice until qualifying as a Solicitor in 1999. He achieved partnership status at the firm where he trained before subsequently leaving London for Gloucestershire and working as a salaried partner at a Cheltenham legal practice from 2005 until January 2011 when he joined Co-op Legal Services.
Having joined initially as a Probate Case Handler, Mark was appointed as an Assistant Team Manager in 2012 and became a Probate Team Leader in 2014. Mark now manages a team of 24 professionals including 13 Probate Case Managers with varying level of experience from Senior Probate Solicitors to trainee Case Managers.
Mark is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Being a member of STEP demonstrates adherence to the high standards set out in their code of conduct specifically relating to Estate Administration work.
All STEP members are subject to an extensive Code of Professional Conduct, requiring them at all times to act with integrity and in a manner that inspires the confidence, respect and trust of their clients and of the wider community. STEP members are also required to keep up to date with the latest legal, technical and regulatory developments.
When Not Working
When he’s not parenting two young sons, Mark enjoys playing golf, reading and music.
