Lauren is a Family Law Paralegal, based in the Bristol office of Co-op Legal Services. Lauren assists with a range of family law matters, including divorce and financial orders. She enjoys working in family law as she finds it rewarding to help those going through very stressful moments in their lives.

Career history

Prior to joining Co-op Legal Services, Lauren worked as a legal helpline advisor for a national law firm. Based in Bristol, she advised callers on a range of legal areas, including contract, property, employment and personal injury.

Lauren studied Law at the University of Bristol and graduated with a 2.1 in 2018. She completed her Bar Professional Training Course at BPP Law School in Bristol, achieving an Outstanding grade. Lauren also obtained a Distinction in the LLM component of the course, with her independent legal research project exploring the incoming divorce reforms.

Lauren was Called to the Bar of England and Wales in May 2021.

Lauren volunteered with the Employment Tribunal Litigants in Person Support Scheme and was a Regional Representative for The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple during the Bar Course.

When not working

Away from work, Lauren enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring her love of musical theatre. She also appreciates any opportunity to travel and try out new baking recipes.
