Marion acted for a Claimant who was awarded just over £1 million in claims of race discrimination and unfair dismissal against a large public sector organisation.

Marion has represented a number of individuals in claims concerning the interpretation of the Working Time Regulations 1998, including entitlement to rest breaks and up to the Court of Appeal for the holiday entitlement of an employee on long term sickness.

Marion has previously been retained by a large professional organisation to provide HR advice. She also has significant experience of conducting mass settlement agreement cases.

Career History

Marion studied International History at the LSE, qualifying as a Solicitor in 1995. In 2016, Marion completed a Masters degree in Employment Law, achieving a distinction with a dissertation on TUPE.

Marion enjoys pottering about in the garden and walking the hills.

Marion is a Trustee of her local Citizens’ Advice Bureau.
