Employment Tribunal Solicitors
We have helped more than 3,000 employees with their employment law claims and we can help you with your claim.
Employment tribunals in England and Wales
In some circumstances, it is inevitable that an employment dispute between an employee and an employer will end up in litigation at an Employment Tribunal.
Our Employment Law Solicitors are committed to the Alternative Dispute Resolution process, using procedures such as Mediation, ACAS Early Conciliation and negotiation rather than litigation to resolve disputes. But sometimes the relationship between the employee and employer is so fraught, only litigation will resolve the dispute in question.
Employment tribunal representation
One of the advantages we give to our Employment Tribunal clients is a fixed fee which is agreed upfront before any work starts.
Litigation can be very costly but with our fixed fee pricing you will know exactly how much you will have to pay - with no nasty surprises.
Once we have provided you with a written quote for the agreed work to be done, that price will not change unless the original information we are given is shown to be incorrect or circumstances change. As part of the Co-op Group our values of openness, honesty, social responsibility and caring for others are core to the service we provide.
We are also unfailingly honest with our clients – if we do not think your claim has a good chance of being successful, we will discuss other more cost-effective solutions with you.
Thank you for all your hard work. It was a very upsetting time but you got me through it. You made an awful situation bearable and gave me hope. (S.M.)
Time limits for employment tribunal claims
Time limits apply to all employment tribunal claims so it is imperative to contact our Employment Law Solicitors as soon as possible. Failure to present a claim within the relevant time limit puts the claim outside the Employment Tribunal's jurisdiction, which means that the tribunal cannot hear the claim unless there are grounds to grant an extension to the normal time limit.
Most Employment Tribunal cases are completed within 9-12 months, depending on the complexity of the claim and which Tribunal is processing this. However, very complex claims could take years to complete.
